In 2025, 36 applicants from 13 municipalities of the Małopolska Region constructed or expanded a total of 39 water reservoirs serving small water retention. The projects were implemented under the annual funding scheme provided by the Management Board of the Małopolska Region, financed from regional budget resources related to the exclusion of agricultural land from production.
The locations of the land plots on which the reservoirs were built are presented on the map “Small Water Retention in Agricultural Areas – Funding”.
